Disposables

All of our needles for tattooing and piercing are single use. We use latex free nitrile gloves that are all single use only.

Every time our artists and piercers prepare to do a service the materials are individual to that service and are disposed of afterwards. The majority of our tattoo supplies are single use. The things that are not single use (our machines, soap bottles, etc) are covered with a barrier to prevent any contamination, and then cleaned with a hospital grade disinfectant after the barrier is removed before the next service.

Any tools are used that are non-disposable (clamps, receiving tubes, tapers, etc.) have been cleaned and sterilized by our staff using an Ultrasonic cleaner and a Statim autoclave. Once those tools are used for an individual service, they go through the sterilization process again.

Statim & Ultrasonic

Ultrasonic cleaning is a process that uses ultrasound to agitate a fluid. The ultrasonic can be used with just water, but the use of a solvent appropriate for the object to be cleaned and the type of soiling present enhances the effect. We use our ultrasonic cleaner to process piercing tools as the first part of the sterilization process.

STATIM is the world's fastest cassette autoclave. The Statim utilizes steam sterilization which is a simple yet very effective decontamination method. Sterilization is achieved by exposing products to saturated steam at high temperatures. Our tools and jewelry are placed in the Statim and are heated through pressurized steam to kill all microorganisms, including spores. We sterilize all of our tools and all of our jewelry using our Statim 2000 cassette autoclave.
